Winds
of Fire Dance Ministry Kim Beveridge is the director and choreographer of Winds of Fire School of Worship Dance and Dance Ministry. She is a past dance member of the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem. She has appeared as a principal dancer on Integrity Hosanna's video, "Jerusalem Arise", Featuring Paul Wilbur. Kim travels nationally and internationally. She instructs as well as performs.
She teaches the elements of worship dance and the characteristics of the
heart of a worshiper. She herself is a worshiper and desires to see God's
people released to express their whole heart in praise and worship to
Him. It is also her desire to see dance movement become a common expression
in the church for the trained and the untrained and for the individual
and the team. Let worship movement display the Glory of God's praise,
God's presence and God's power! Winds of Fire Dance Ministry was formed in 1988 with the purpose of ministering to the Lord and His people through dance. This ministry team functions in an ongoing way within their own congregations as well as in conferences, special events and evangelistic outreaches. The Winds of Fire School of Worship Dance, taught by Kim Beveridge and other instructors, is for those who want to increase in their "movement vocabulary" and their freedom of movement in both personal worship and dance ministry. We teach our students how to become comfortable using their bodies to express worship and praise for personal and congregational release, how to choreograph for solo and group pieces, how to experiment with different movement techniques and how to use fabrics and props for enhancing worship expression. We also hold classes for children, kindergarden age and up, teaching and releasing them to praise the Lord through movement. We have two semesters: fall/winter and winter/spring.
